About the Role
As a Lead Carpenter at Nada, you’ll handle the detailed work that clients notice most: trim, doors, feature walls, built-ins, and site-built details. You’ll work closely with our Site Supervisors and Designers to bring drawings to life, mentoring junior carpenters and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities
Install doors, casings, baseboards, crown, wall panels, stair components, and custom details
Build and install simple site-built millwork, shelving, and feature walls
Work from drawings and details to execute precise, clean finishes
Guide and mentor junior carpenters or labourers on site
Collaborate with designers and project managers to resolve onsite details
Maintain a clean, safe work area and protect finished surfaces in occupied homes
Requirements
5+ years of finish carpentry experience in residential renovations or custom homes
Strong skills with trim, doors, wall panelling, and detailed interior finishes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and millwork details
Own basic hand and power tools; valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Professional, respectful attitude in occupied homes
Nice to Have
Experience with custom stairs, railings, or complex trim details
Background in framing or general carpentry as well as finishing
Experience leading small crews or acting as a working foreperson
