About the Role
As an Estimator & Project Coordinator at Nada, you’ll play a key role early in each project. You’ll prepare take-offs, request trade quotes, build budgets, and help set projects up for success before construction starts. You’ll also support the Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, and client updates.
Responsibilities
Review drawings and scopes to produce detailed take-offs and cost estimates
Request, compare, and organize trade and supplier quotes
Build budget breakdowns for kitchens, basements, bathrooms, additions, and full-home renovations
Assist with project schedules, trade call-offs, and purchase orders
Maintain pricing databases and update costs based on market changes
Prepare client proposal documents and assist in pre-construction meetings
Support Project Managers with change orders and budget tracking during construction
Requirements
2–4+ years of experience in construction estimating or project coordination (residential preferred)
Strong understanding of renovation scopes, labour, and material costs
Proficiency with Excel and estimating / project management software
High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Previous experience in a design-build or renovation company
Knowledge of local trades and suppliers in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and Toronto
Background in construction technology, engineering, or quantity surveying
